      Nasty space weather makes listening challenging this last week. The SWL fest is looking for this years forum speakers.
Pirates in the news this week consists of Pirate radio station operators protest outside NCC in Taiwan.
  We go though select posts from the Free Radio Network and Radio Pirates, as well as note the stations logged per the free Radio Weekly.
   Off Air recordings this week include the pirate stations of WHJR, Grasscutter and Sunshine, and Take it Easy Radio.

Back from Vacation! So this week is a bit of catch up. Pirates in the news include a mention on Glen Hausers program World of Radio about the Brother Stairs parody number station. A notice of apparent liability from the FCC to an ebay seller of non certified HF radios from T.W.I.A.R.  Janice and Steve Karlock talks about listening to HF pirates on their show the International radio Report.
  We go though a few posts on the Free Radio Network, and one on Radio Pirates, as well as the pirates stations logged per the Free Radio Weekly.
Off air recordings this week include the stations; Radio Free Speech, WHJR and MAC shortwave.
In other radio news from T.W.I.A.R. Ofcom is thinking about ending AM & FM radio in the U.K. & reassigning the spectrum to internet TV also a CHU update.
