Two items for the pirates in the news segment. Not really pirates but a mention of 87.9Navajo on the NPR program Living on Earth. 87.9Navajo is a station used to protest a new power plant project on a native american reservation. We also listen to steve & Janice on the International Radio Report discuss shortwave pirate radio.
We go through select posts on the Free Radio Network and the Radio Pirates forum boards and list the stations logged per the FRN.
Off air recordings this week include a UNID, WDDR, Pirate Radio Boston, Random Radio, and Lazer Hot Hits.
In other radio news; Gamblers Electronics has been fined, apartment dweller antennas from DX Unlimited and FCC Appointments and Promotions 2007 from This Week in Amateur Radio.
